I have worked for myself since 1994 when I started a craft business, Amulet Inspirational Art, which I managed until selling it in 2005. Before that I was employed as Instructional Designer and Quality Assurance Manager at Learning Technologies, a company which produced computer-based instruction programmes, and then as a Researcher at the Human Sciences Research Council.
Over the past 15 years I have managed an art gallery and curated exhibitions, developed websites, and worked as external marker for Unisa's Psychology Department and as a freelance editor, scribe and report writer. For a period of two years, I also recorded audio books for Tape Aids for the Blind.
I have recently embarked on conversational coaching for non-English speakers.
